Preaching wasn’t in mind, crowds were always a deterrent. As a kid I was extremely extroverted, either puberty or age flipped me to introvert.
Out of Bible college, my first job was as a janitor at The Bridge Community Church where my dad is pastor. A mop suited my skill set (or lack of) pretty well. From there God kept opening doors, first as a youth pastor, then as a small group coordinator, and slowly adding Sunday morning sermons to my responsibilities. My story is one of moving when God opens doors—following Jesus means walking through them.
I married my college friend and snowboarding buddy, Nicole in 2010. Together we have 3 adventurous, talkative girls. In our free time, you’ll find us outside during the day and watching cartoons at night.
WE LOVE GOD'S WORD, WE LOVE GOD'S CREATION, AND WE LOVE GOD'S FAMILY.
